Sample

Wall built in carbonated sandstone during the enlargement of the building in the XVIII century, with different repairs in the XX century. Seu Vella of Lleida (Old Cathedral).

Pathology Causes

Salt crusts from the mortar leaching and from ground capillary rise crystallized on the surface of the ashlar due to repeated evaporation-hydratation cycles.
